Documents Required for Court Marriage in Pakistan
Having the correct documents ensures a smooth and fast court marriage process. Complete checklist for Pakistani citizens.
📋 For Both Bride & Groom
Original CNIC + 2 Photocopies
Valid CNIC issued by NADRA for both bride and groom.
Passport Size Photographs (6 each)
Recent photos, white background preferred.
Age Verification Documents
Birth certificate or B-Form. Bride 18+, Groom 18+ under Pakistani law.
Affidavit of Free Will & Consent
Sworn affidavit confirming both parties enter marriage freely. We prepare this for you.
Divorce Certificate (if previously married)
Valid divorce deed or court decree required if applicable.
Death Certificate (if widowed)
Required if either party is a widow/widower.
👥 For Witnesses (x2)
Witness CNIC Copies (2 copies each)
Both witnesses must be adult Pakistani nationals.
Witness Photographs (1–2 each)
Passport-size photos for official records.
Physical Presence Required
Both witnesses must attend the marriage ceremony for signing.
🌍 For Overseas Pakistanis
Valid Pakistani Passport (copy)
Data page copy for additional verification if CNIC unavailable.
Power of Attorney (if required)
Notarized POA authorizing a representative if cannot appear in person.
Proof of Overseas Residency
Visa, residence permit, or foreign ID card copy.
